opiate or amphetamine? (incessantly human)

· podcast,theology,economics,politics

Hello, dear ones!

Thanks for your patience with the new episode of INCESSANTLY HUMAN - Aaron and I had some "life stuff" come up that meant we had to delay Episode #16 by a week. But now it's out, and it's a good one!

Is religion an "opiate of the masses," to use a Marxian turn of phrase, or is it an spur to social transformation? That's what we ask in this week's episode, the first of a two-parter on religion and politics as we enter the home stretch (God willing and the fascism don't rise) of this 2020 election year.

Check back in next week as we continue our dive, and feel free to leave comments here, on our Instagram, or on Apple Podcasts! (Also, follow us and give us five stars, if your favorite podcasting platform allows for it. We sure do appreciate it!)

Blessin's, --Tom
