Been a while, hasn't it?
As we come to this side of Easter, well into the covid-19 pandemic that's turned all of our lives upside-down, I'm picking PoetPastor back up. (It helps that I've completed the third draft of my fantasy novel The Place Where Magic Begins, which has absorbed most of my creative juices for the last several months. Let me know if you'd like to be a beta reader!)
So, let's kick off with the news that I have a podcast now! Incessantly Human is a podcast on Art, God, & Society which I co-host with my creative collaborator Aaron Eaves. Our first episode is out as of today: "Christ, Covid, & the Bernie Blues." Check it out at the link - it's also available on Spotify and will be soon on other platforms like iTunes and Google.
This will be an ongoing project, so I'll keep posting updates here. I'm also starting up a YouTube channel "The Godly Communist" in which I tackle politics from a progressive religious perspective and religion from a leftist political perspective. That'll have its premier in early May - I'll keep you in the loop!
